To date, The Bearded Savant has made every attempt to create products that people will enjoy, will make them feel more comfortable in their own skin, smell terrific, and contain some of the best ingredients available. We have high standards for ourselves and it would be incongruent to offer you anything less. The result of these efforts have been a fledgling business and happy customers. Don't get us wrong, we are proud of what we do and are honored to provide excellent men's grooming products to you and your loved ones. But let's be honest, at the end of the day, doing this doesn't change the world. Until now.
Beginning on 1 August 2017, The Bearded Savant gives back. We are teaming up with Community First! Village by offering 2% of net retail sales to their mission to support the chronically homeless of Central Texas. Community First! Village is a 27-acre master planned community that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for the disabled, chronically homeless in Central Texas. A development of Mobile Loaves & Fishes, this transformative residential program exists to love and serve our neighbors who have been living on the streets, while also empowering the surrounding community into a lifestyle of service with the homeless. We could not be more excited about this partnership and we view this 2% as a jumping off point. We look forward to how this partnership develops moving forward.
Living in a world where we deal only in the things that we need or want is a world devoid of the human interactions that have the potential to change us. Radical vulnerability towards the most vulnerable in our society creates a world of interconnectivity that has the potential to change us both.
